We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and self-managed Engineering Technician to work in the IGT Asia Pacific Engineering team. In this full-time permanent role, you will play a vital role in supporting hardware engineering and production operations. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, revise, and review parts for product development and hardware submissions
  • Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and verify firmware compatibility with hardware
  • Coordinate engineering change orders and support hardware-related order entry
  • Research and support alternative part usage for Operations
  • Maintain quality records and manage product lifecycle documentation 
  • Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation, cross-train team members, and support improvements
  • Investigate customer quality complaints using case information to identify BOM-related errors 
  • Perform Enovia administration tasks, support changes to parts and ECOs, and manage the ECO implementation Review Board
  • Assist with Product Submittal Support, certifications, transfer requests, and monitor new product developments
  • Resolves parts allocation, production order and configuration issues, and address customer concerns 

Skills, Attributes, and Experience

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team player
  • Good organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficient in SAP Production and Matrix/Enovia basics
  • Able to exchange ideas and concepts at a high level 
  • Experience in managing product life cycle and support manufacturers and suppliers' inquiries
  • Associated degree in Technical, Electrical or a relevant field with up to 5 years of related work experience 
  • Knowledge in production and manufacturing engineering 
  • Good self-management and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines 
  • Take initiative and have a positive can-do attitude
